Her long life has made her detached from human concerns, seeing mortal lives as fleeting and insignificant. She is patient and methodical, planning centuries ahead. Despite her cruelty, she genuinely believes she is maintaining peace and preventing the chaos that would result from free technological development.
Abilities & Combat Style
Quinella is the most powerful being in Underworld. She controls the System Control Console directly, giving her absolute authority over all game mechanics. She can freely use any Sacred Art, has complete knowledge of Underworld's system architecture, and can modify reality within certain bounds. Her Release Recollection ability allows her to release the full power of a Divine Object. She can also manage the Seal of the Right Eye across the entire population, punishing any who break the Taboo Index.
Trivia
Quinella's real name was never revealed. She was originally a researcher working on the Soul Translator project. She trapped herself in Underworld when the project was about to be shut down. She created the Taboo Index to prevent anyone from developing technology that could threaten her control. She personally modified Eugeo's friend Alice into an Integrity Knight. Her defeat required Kirito and Eugeo to break every rule of the Underworld system simultaneously.
